Incredibly rare melanistic tigers were spotted in India.
70 percent of all tigers in the world live in India. Recently two extremely rare half-black tigers were noticed roaming around the Nandankanan National Park in eastern India.
Experts have proved that there could be only 7 or 8 of them in this area. Because of a genetic abnormality known as pseudo-melanism, which causes their dark stripe pattern to merge on light orange-golden fur,
fully dark pelts.
Satya Swagat, 23, a business student from New Delhi, took these wonderful shots. He told that when he saw these unique tigers he was attracted by their beauty. But soon one of them approached him and was about 30 feet from him.
So the photographer took his camera and started to take incredible photos of these melanistic tigers.
