Pennsylvania Firefighters Rescue Dog From River Late At Night

Firefighters are great example that not all the heroes wear capes.

Recently Sharon Fire Department received a call about a dog that had fallen into the Shenango River and needed help.

The firefighters were soon at the place of the incident with the proper types of equipment for nighttime rescue. However, the drowning dog named Dexter was afraid of the boat, and as soon as the firefighters approached he escaped. The City of Sharon, PA posted, “Firefighter Sonny Miller entered the water and ‘made friends with him and finally was able to get Dexter safely into the boat.

Dexter’s mom, Liz Rose thanked a lot the firefighters and was extremely extited seing her dog again safe and sound.
