Labradoodle named Reagan was in seventh heaven when a little boy named Buddy appeared in the house, who was adopted by the owner of the dog, Kari Lewis.
The dog and baby became friends when they were both 11 months old and have been inseparable ever since.
Friends grew up together: they explored the world, celebrated holidays, tried new things and even got into trouble.
After so many years, Buddy and Reagan are no longer just friends, but real brothers who love to spend time with each other.
They see each other every day, but despite this, the dog and the boy are always happy when they meet in the morning.
The connection between them was instantaneous. Reagan seemed to know that Buddy really needed a furry friend to help him settle into his foster family.
“Watching their friendship warms my heart,” Kari Lewis says
Recently, another child appeared in the Lewis family – a girl named Quinn. And with her, another dog came into the house, so that the little girl had her own shaggy friend from childhood, the same as her older brother.
