Umora found her loving and careful owner for life.
Once Zhenya was rolling up and down her feed when she encountered a picture of a wild sable. Zhenya knew that if she wouldn’t save the animals soon she would be eliminated at a fur farm in Russia because of her shining fur.
Zhenya called her Umora. She claimed that staying at the farm would have been a toll on the sable as she was very emotional and sometimes even hysterical. However, the girl was happy to share her daily routine with the unique pet and they made a strong bond together.
Sables are rarely kept as pets. They are normally found in burrows and riverbanks in dense forest areas.
