Leah Rose and Ava Marie, identical twins, were created on July 7, 2010, in California. It didn’t take long for their mother, Jaqi, to start receiving compliments on the girls’ appearance.
When the kids were 6 months old, Jaqi signed them to a modeling agency, but she later changed her mind because it wasn’t the right time. Life was simply too busy with twins, a 2-year-old son, and other children.
But Jaqi saw it as a sign when Leah and Ava turned seven on July 7, 2017 (7/7/17). She didn’t realize their Instagram profile would become popular when she shared the girls’ first photo there.
The Clements twins rose to fame on Instagram overnight, and modeling companies flocked to sign them.
Jaqi Clements and her husband couldn’t wait to have children.
When their kid was two years old, Jaqi discovered she was expecting once more. With identical twin girls this time.
On July 7, 2010, Leah Rose and Ava Marie were delivered four and a half weeks early.
Knowing their characteristics today, Jaqi wrote on her blog, “it makes total sense that they would show up early, uninvited, and ready to take on anything.”
“For as long as I can remember strangers would approach me when we were out asking first if they were twins,” she wrote.
“Their follow up would always be… ‘Wow they are so beautiful, you should really think about getting them into modeling.’”
Jaqi originally signed the girls to a modeling agency at 6 months old but decided it wasn’t the right time.
With a 2-year-old son and brand-new set of twins, she said it was hard enough to get out of the door!
When the girls turned 7 years old on 7/7/17, Jaqi took it as a sign. She felt they were ready to try again with a modeling agency.
