We’re tempted to join the giggling of these adorable twin baby boys.

Hearing a baby giggle is often all it takes to make a bad day better. Their unadulterated joy causes a special reaction in our brains, and most of the time, we can’t help but smile or laugh in return.

The real reason we find babies so beautiful may not be due to psychology or natural selection, but rather the fact that their happiness originates from a wholly innocent and pure source; there are no hidden meanings or messages to understand when engaging with an infant.

Usually, all it takes to get a baby to laugh is to make a comical face or play a simple game of peek-a-boo, which is sure to result in a slobbery grin. And as seen in this video, the effects are almost too adorable to handle when a second baby joins in.

Peyton and Brennan, twin boys who were placed face to face in their crib, are acquiring a useful new skill by calling and replying with another person. We adore them simply because they are so incredibly adorable, regardless of the advances in brain development that are occurring.

Mother, 98, checks into a nursing home to take care of her son, 80.

The love of a mother is unfathomable.

After deciding to reside in the same nursing home as her 80-year-old son in order to care for him, a 98-year-old woman gained notoriety.

Ada Keeting is the great mother who made it her job to take care of her son’s well-being in this heartwarming tale of a mother’s love that is so powerful even at such a late age.

In order to receive the additional care and help he required, Tom Keating relocated to the Moss View care home in Liverpool, UK, in 2016.

In order to be near her oldest child and take care of her, Mother Ada made the decision to relocate into the same home. The two try to spend as much time as they can together in their downtime playing games or watching Emmeralde.

Ada and Tom have a special affinity because they have always lived together and Tom has never wed. They are both from Wavertree, Liverpool.

They had established a resemblance of a routine, according to Ada.

She said, “I go say good morning to Tom every morning and I say goodnight to Tom in his room.” He will be informed that I will be down for breakfast.

She claimed that even after all these years, they remain in love.

She said, “He’ll look for me when I go to the hairdresser to see when I’ll come back.” He’ll run up to me with his arms outstretched when I get back and give me a big hug. “You are a mother forever.” Tom said, “They’re quite good here, and I’m happy to see my mother more now that she lives here.” Sometimes she’ll say, “Be yourself.” She looks after me quite well.

Tom was the oldest and only boy out of Ada’s four children with her late husband Harry. Ada’s daughters Margi, Barbara, and Janet all passed away at the age of thirteen. Ada was an assistant nurse, while Tom worked as a painter and decorator until retirement.

They receive frequent visits from family members, who are always happy to see the couple together. The Keating family visits once in a while, sometimes with up to five generations present.

Debi Higham, Ada’s granddaughter, pays frequent visits to her grandma and uncle. She stated as follows:

«They can’t be separated. It’s reassuring to know that they’re both being cared for around the clock.

Phillip Daniels, the care home’s manager, also stated that they were overjoyed to have Tom and Ada among them.

«It’s quite moving to observe Tom and Ada’s tight friendship, and we’re so glad we were able to suit both of their demands,» he added. «It’s unusual to have moms and their children in the same care facility, so we aim to make their time together as meaningful as possible.» They are inextricably linked.

In the video below, you can see the loving mother and son discussing their regular day.

77-year-old school janitor who never had a birthday party hears her name over the loudspeaker

Frances Buzzard performed her normal duties as an ordinary janitor.

She always polished furniture until it sparkled. And soon all the staff and students fell in love with this wonderful woman for her incredible hard work and perseverance, which turned the school into one of the cleanest places in the city.

But it turned out that this inconspicuous old woman kept a very sad secret from everyone all the time.

One day, the director called Frances to the school cafeteria. The woman must have been puzzled when the need was announced over the loudspeaker.

What she met when she entered the cafeteria was far beyond her wildest fantasies.

More than two hundred students and staff were waiting for Francis to congratulate the woman on her 77th birthday. It turned out that the principal found out that this elderly woman had never had a real birthday celebration in her entire life. And all the staff and students decided to arrange a real holiday for her. It was the very first happy birthday of her life!

She was greeted at the door with a loud “Happy Birthday” song, after which a cart full of gingerbread cookies and chocolate muffins, as well as plenty of lemonade, was rolled out of the kitchen.

Frances was given a glittering tiara, put on her head. In addition, the students hung a commemorative ribbon for the woman before she was led to a chair in the very center of the room. She was truly the star of the party.

Soon it was time for the highlight of the show.

Curtains on one side of the room opened to reveal a large screen. It turned on a slide show that included a documentary about Frances’s story.

Many photographs detailed important historical events throughout her long and eventful life. One of them showed Frances raising the flag on Iwo Jima, standing next to Neil Armstrong on the moon. She was a really energetic young lady during her heyday.

But why did the woman never celebrate her birthday?

Frances reminisced about her childhood. She grew up in a very poor family. It turns out her parents could never afford to give the little girl a proper birthday. They almost never even had a chance to celebrate Christmas.

Frances was truly delighted with such a wonderful gesture from the school. It was a well-thought-out reward from the principal, staff, and students for the efforts of the cleaning lady. One can only thank these people for making the old woman smile on her birthday.

Motel Owner Refuses to Let Freezing Girl in Not Knowing She’ll Deprive Him of Business – Story of the Day

Arthur was a motel owner with aspirations of transforming his motel into a hotel. However, after an encounter with a young woman in need, Arthur learns a thing or two about compassion.

Arthur was the owner of a small motel he hoped to take to greater heights in the future. His motel was his pride and joy; unfortunately, it tended to fuel his pride more than provide any joy.

The image of his motel meant everything to Arthur. He considered it one of the best and more prestigious motels in the region. His hope was to one day transform it into a hotel, and he believed that the upcoming Motel Hospitality Competition was his ticket to the big leagues.

The Motel Hospitality Competition was a prestigious annual competition that allowed those in the local motel industry the chance to expand their business. Arthur had applied for this competition and was waiting for a commission.

“This is not a charity or homeless shelter, ma’am. It’s a business. You can’t pay. You can’t stay.”
Winning an award at this competition would allow him to sell his services more, and he could see himself eventually turning it into a small hotel really soon.

One day, Arthur came across his motel manager, Danny, dealing with a woman, Jessica, who desperately wanted a place to stay for the night. Jessica was drenched from head to toe from the rain outside, and the temperatures were incredibly low that day.

“What seems to be the problem here, Danny?” Arthur asked his manager. Before Danny could reply, Jessica chimed in, pleading sincerely.

“Please help me, sir. I desperately need a place to stay for the night. I’ll accept anything you have. I don’t have money on me, but—” Jessica began before being stopped dead in her tracks by an unconvinced Arthur.

“You don’t have any money?” Arthur crudely asked.

“Uhm… No, sir. But I’m sure we can arrange something at a better time. I just need a place to lay my head for the night,” Jessica pleaded.

“This is not a charity or homeless shelter, ma’am. It’s a business. You can’t pay. You can’t stay,” Arthur barked.

“Please, sir! It’s just for a night. I’ll be gone first thing in the morning,” Jessica begged.

“Danny, call security and ask them to show this young woman to the door,” Arthur coldly snapped as Danny beckoned to the nearby security guards at the door.
“Sir, please! I’m begging you! Just one night,” Jessica pleaded as the security guards approached her, ushering her towards the door.
“Goodbye, ma’am. Come back when you can afford a room,” Arthur coldly said. He then turned to Danny, who looked on at the poor lady, feeling for her.

“And you. Make sure everything is perfect for tomorrow. I don’t need to remind you that the jury for the competition will be here, and we can’t afford to have anything out of place,” Arthur said.
< “Uhm… Y—Yes, sir,” Danny hesitantly responded. The next morning, Arthur had just finished doing the last round of inspections with the jury for the competition. Arthur was incredibly confident that he’d done exceedingly well. The jury seemed to be satisfied with his motel’s performance. Arthur moved closer to the stage to ensure his eyes weren’t deceiving him. On the day of the award ceremony, Arthur was pretty anxious. He wished the whole process could speed up so he could claim his award. His biggest competitor was also in the competition, and the longer the event took, the more he worried about them Arthur became.

He was fairly confident after the inspections. However, something didn’t sit well with him for some odd reason. And the longer the event took, the more uncertain he began to feel.

Arthur nervously pulled one of the jury members aside to ask what the hold-up was. The award ceremony should have started a while back, and this was beginning to unsettle Arthur even further.

“Sorry, but do you know when the ceremony will commence? It’s almost been an hour now,” Arthur asked the jury member.

“Oh, Arthur! Don’t look so tense. You did pretty well. Anyways, we should be starting soon. We’re just waiting on the chairman to show. She got a little held up in traffic,” the jury member said.

“Oh, okay. I see,” Arthur said.

“Actually, there she is now. I think we are ready to go,” the jury member said. As Arthur followed the jury member’s gaze to the chairman on the other side of the room, his heart immediately sank to his stomach.

Arthur moved closer to the stage to ensure his eyes weren’t deceiving him. The closer he got, the more concrete his fear became as the chairman and other jury members walked on the stage. The chairman was none other than Jessica.

As she finally stepped up to the podium after being presented by the MC, Jessica and Arthur shared a distinct look.
Arthur looked on in shame and disbelief, while Jessica looked on in authority, no longer the begging young lady from the night before.
Jessica explained to the crowd in attendance that she had done an experiment, and only one hotel owner helped her. She then awarded the award to Arthur’s competitor, who, unlike him, had shown compassion on Jessica and allowed her a small room for the night.

After this, Arthur learned a valuable lesson and started treating his customers with more care and people in general. And while his business took a hit for a while, Arthur managed to revive his business based on his newly learned ethics.

As Arthur did his best to apply compassion to his dealings and learned from his mistake and misjudgment, he slowly got back to his feet and became a better man.

What can we learn from this story?

Try to treat everyone with compassion. If Arthur had shown a little more compassion for the woman, he might have won the competition.
Learn from your mistakes. Arthur learned a lesson about compassion after losing the competition and finally changed his ways of dealing with people in business and life.

Receive the grace to be better. While Arthur made a big mistake rejecting Jessica, he had the grace to learn from his mistake and keep moving towards a better life and version of himself.

Ina Garten and husband Jeffrey, married 53 years, met when they were just 15–and Jeffrey still sends her love notes!

Not many people can say they have been with someone they loved as a teenager for over 50 years.

Even fewer can say they still write love letters after decades of marriage.

Ina Garten, the famed “Barefoot Contessa” and television personality, has been with her husband Jeffrey for over 50 years. Now 70 and 71, respectively, the two met when they were just 15 years old.

In 1963, Garten was visiting her brother at Dartmouth college when she and Jeffrey met on the street. Not long after, he sent her a letter introducing himself and including a picture of himself as well.

Garten was overjoyed when she read the letter, reportedly running to her mother to yell, “Mom, Mom, you’ve got to see this picture of this guy. He’s so cute!”

They began dating after, and tied the knot 5 years later in 1968.

However, just a year after their wedding, Jeffrey was deployed to Thailand. There for the army, he had no choice but to continue communicating with his now-wife via letters.

Garten participated as well, and the two wrote to each other remotely for a period of time. Only able to speak on the phone once a year, letters became an important part of their relationship.

Jeffrey claimed he wrote a letter to his wife every day while away from her.

When he finally returned, the two reunited and made an effort to go on dates. They began traveling to Paris often, including every year on their anniversary. Eventually, the city became like a second home to them.

Jeffrey was traveling to Yale University in Connecticut every day for years, where he works as a professor in the school of management.

Ina would work out of their home in East Hampton, New York, and the two would only really spend time together on weekends.

Jeffrey, therefore, made an effort to continue writing love letters to his wife every day, telling her why he loves her.

When the COVID-19 pandemic forced everyone indoors for a period of time in 2020, the two were finally able to spend extensive time together.

Even then, Jeffrey continued writing his love notes to his wife!

We certainly think that Ina and Jeffrey have a story of true love on their hands after 53 years.

Veteran Who Lost Both His Legs Receives Custom Accessible Home From Gary Sinise

The world tends to forget about all the veterans and soldiers who put their lives on the line trying to defend their country.

It’s easy to congratulate them after a victory and even easier not to give them enough credit for the hardships they go through. However, one foundation, the Gary Sinise Foundation, chooses not to overwrite their deeds and help them out after the war days are over.

Many will lose their limbs, get fatal injuries, suffer from post-traumatic stress, and in worse situations, die. Gary Sinise, the founder of the charitable organization, dedicates himself fully to ensuring that army veterans, soldiers, and defenders get the care and attention they need after war.

The organization has been in existence for over four decades, aiding out thousands of veterans and their families. It doesn’t seem to slow down any time in the future. Sinise has family members who have served in the military that inspired his organization, but so did his role as Lt. Dan in “Forrest Gump.” Sinise said the role changed his life and even led him to found the Lt. Dan Band, which performs for active-duty military overseas.

In 2019 one deserving marine, Jonathon Blank, was given a custom-built house from the Gary Sinise Foundation after he lost both of his legs in an IED explosion in 2010. He also suffered trauma to his head and upper body and still suffers from insomnia, migraines and chronic pain. The home is fully accessible and made to serve all of Blank’s needs. Keep reading to learn more about Blank and what this home means to him.

Jonathon Blank and his close friend Jonathon Nelson have a true bond that can only come from serving together in the United States Marines. The two veterans became friends after serving together in the same special operations unit while in Afghanistan over ten years ago. Nelson was present during the explosion when Blank lost his legs.

That has not stopped the pair from hiking together, however. One day while driving past Mount Timpanogos in Utah, Nelson decided that he wanted to take Blank with him to the top. “I thought this would be something epic for him to experience, to actually get into the saddle,” Nelson said.

It is not a surprise that the two would want to tackle this journey together. While in combat, the pair shared an abundance of blood, sweat, and tears while serving their country.

Nelson climbed 14.3 miles to the top of Mount Timpanogos with Blank on his back. This was quite the physical feat, considering that Blank weighed 135 pounds and the hike boasted an elevation gain of 4,500 feet.

Fellow hikers Nate Larid and Phil Casper were coming down the same trail when they saw Nelson and Blank. They were awestruck. “When you see that, you see that determination for them to do what they do, and you want to do that for you and your families,” Laird said.

Blank said that the hike was significant because it proved to other people that anything is possible. “Not only have I lived through this, but we’re also special operations guys. We can do anything”, he told Fox59. “We can maybe instill that mindset into other people.”

When Blank first came home after his injury, he realized how dramatically his life had changed. Tasks like getting up and down the stairs in his home were now so much harder. “Some days it just gets old. The world is not meant for people with disabilities,” Blank said. “It’s just a hard truth and that’s something that I’ve dealt with every day since I was injured.”

“It’s such an incredible gift,” Blank shared, adding that some of his Marine friends got teary-eyed when they heard the news. “Even some of those tough guys, when they found out about this, they got pretty emotional about it.”

Blank also had the opportunity to collaborate on ideas for the home while it was being built. “Honestly, I didn’t really know that I would be so involved with the planning and the layout of the building,” he said.

Blank’s girlfriend, Brittney Harris, also spoke out on how much the home would change his life before it was built. She said:

“He’s dragging, hauling all his stuff up and down the stairs all the time. Nothing slows him down, but just to imagine cupboards that he can pull down and reach rather than having to jump up there — it’s going to be such a huge difference for him.”

The home is customized with lighting control and other tech systems to help Blank. Blaine Christensen, co-owner of Advanced Integrated Systems, said:

“We’re proud to have helped provide Sergeant Blank with a home that will forever change the trajectory of his life; it’s a tremendous gift from the American people and corporations like Legrand. He is enjoying the amazing amenities his new home provides and loves how it gives him the ability to do things that haven’t always been easy for him.”

It’s apparent that nothing has stopped Blank from living his best life. No matter what adversities are thrown his way, he has proven that he can overcome anything. The veteran posted a clip on Instagram showing off his athletic abilities with a huge smile on his face. The post’s caption was filled with plenty of inspiring hashtags, including “#neverstop #sendingit #nolegs #noquitting.”

Fortunately, it seems like Blank has a lot of space to move around in his home. In November 2020, Jorgenson Builders posted a heartwarming photo to Facebook showing Blank in front of his home that was crafted thanks to the Gary Sinise Foundation. The caption read:

In this season of gratitude, we’re so grateful we got to build a specially adapted smart home for the @GarySiniseFoundation’s R.I.S.E program benefitting (sic) USMC SSgt Jonathon Blank. What a great program to be a part of! We were able to turn the home over to Jonathon on Veterans Day. We hope he loves his new home and want to welcome him to Midway!

According to the Gary Sinise Foundation website, R.I.S.E. stands for Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment. The program focuses on building smart homes for “severely wounded heroes” by providing home modifications.

While Sinise found fame through acting in numerous plays, films, and TV series, his legacy is surely as a humanitarian. Aside from his work with the Gary Sinise Foundation, he is also on the advisory council of Hope For the Warriors, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing non-medical care to combat-wounded service members and their families. Sinise has been honored numerous times for his efforts in helping wounded veterans, including the Sylvanus Thayer Award in 2015 and an award from the Location Managers Guild in 2020.

What do you think of this gift from the Gary Sinise Foundation? Does Blank’s story inspire you? Let us know, and be sure to send this on to your friends and family.

The girl who looks like a doll is now 9 years ord. What does she look like today?

Little Aira had to pass the test of fame very early. Already at the age of two, she became seriously interested in modeling. Her parents decided that such a doll-like appearance should be noticed by professionals, and took their daughter to a modeling agency.

The agency immediately came up with a role for the girl — the image of a famous doll.

Photos of Aira’s appearance spread all over the Internet, many users refused to believe that a girl could have such a doll-like appearance, and often wrote that it was a hoax, and the photos were simply photoshopped.

But over time, everyone came to terms with it, because the girl was real.

It is impossible to say with certainty whether Ira was happy with what was happening to her. In this case, it was her parents who decided her fate. She did not attend kindergarten, did not play with her peers and spent all her time in modeling agencies and photo studios.

Ira was very famous, she was recognized on the streets and asked to take a picture with her when they met.

But as she grew up, her appearance changed. She stopped looking like a doll, and modeling agencies stopped inviting her to shootings and shows. Her popularity began to fade.

Sometimes she was still invited as a model for certain projects, but this was very rare.

Now she, like many children of her age, has her own page on social networks. And it is worth noting that there are no photos of her «doll» past, perhaps the girl does not like what her childhood was like.

If You Don’t Laugh Out Loud At This, You’ve Missed a Great Chance!

If You Don’t Laugh Out Loud At This, You’ve Missed a Great Chance!

Oh, to be young once more. In this video, adults who see their mirrors as babies have a wild dance party. Watch out for the infant sporting a chocolate milk mustache. You’ll want to join in the dancing since these men are just so adorable.

In this endearing clip, people are strolling down a busy street when they unexpectedly spot their “inner babies” reflected in a storefront glass. And of course, they begin to dance, as any respectable adult-baby would. The end effect is hilarious and extraordinarily artistic.

The adult characters interact with their baby selves through dance! This reminds my fellow old-timers and me of the old Charlie Chaplin chestnut where Charlie discovers his “independent” person in the mirror, but I digress.

Back to the video; just as the video comes to a close, a sweet senior citizen is walking her dog, and she happens to notice the ‘magical’ window. Instantly she is transformed into an adorable toddler — and her dog becomes a puppy. This is too cute not to watch and share right now because it will brighten anyone’s day.

So why is Evian using babies to sell its water? Glad you asked; because the answer is something any history buff will appreciate. The brand’s connection with babies goes back to 1935 when the brand was recommended as the best water to give to babies because of its “pH-neutral mineral composition” — as it was marked. Today more mothers give their babies Evian than any other brand of water. Yup. Now you know.

This type of Internet video commercial is about happiness, energy, and sharing! We say ‘sharing’ because this video is one of our most popular ones here on Madly Odd. It has been shared thousands of times because it’s just so cute. So, scroll down, and tell us what you thought of these dancing babies. See what others have to say and share your story, too.
