Nine-year-old King Moore, a third-grader, introduced himself to the America’s Got Talent (AGT) judges with a charming demeanor and remarkably large ambitions. When asked about his dreams, King confidently declared his goals included hosting his own TV show, touring the world, and starring in movies. His plans for the million-dollar prize were equally endearing: a cruise for his family, complete with roller coasters, free ice cream, and jacuzzis. This combination of youthful sincerity and professional aspiration immediately won over the audience and set the stage for a compelling audition.
For his performance, King unveiled an original rap song he wrote himself when he was just five years old. The music was instantly infectious, and despite his age, King demonstrated an unshakeable confidence and formidable stage presence. He delivered the lyrics with impressive rhythm and swagger, keeping the energy high and commanding the massive stage as if he had been performing for decades. The powerful performance quickly got the entire audience on their feet, fully invested in the young star’s compelling act.
The judges were clearly impressed by his natural aptitude for performing. Mel B praised his “swag and rhythm and confidence,” noting he already seemed like a star.
Simon Cowell, recognizing a rare talent, called him “naturally good” and highlighted the significance of an artist so young writing their own material. Simon predicted that many well-known music figures would soon be asking King to feature on their records. Recognizing his obvious star quality and talent, King Moore successfully earned a unanimous four “yeses,” moving forward in the competition and taking a major step toward his cruising dreams.
